In 2004 the company was purchased by an investment group which renewed and modernised the company’s different departments both at production and management level, with the Research and Development department being particularly strengthened.
It likewise extended its international presence by creating branches in different countries, improved its international sales network and has now achieved an outstanding presence in over 50 countries throughout the world and consolidated the brand by making it the leading company in the field. |

In 2005 Norica purchased one of the most prestigious and best-known factories for the manufacture of airgun ammunition in the world, founded in Eibar in 1946, and incorporated it into the group, thus creating a modern production plant for pellets where the most advanced technology is applied and a product of the highest quality and precision is achieved. |

During 2006 the Norica Group purchased the LAURONA Company, also founded in Eibar in 1941, engaged since its beginnings in the manufacture of over-and-under shotguns for hunting and shooting as well as express rifles. The inclusion of firearms for hunting and shooting reinforced the importance of the NORICA LAURONA group in the arms industry even more, as it consolidated it as one of the main references worldwide, thus consolidating a leadership which had been going from strength to strength for decades.
